The statue Built in the 5th century, that represent the classic blended style of Gandhara art, Greco-Buddhist art that flourished in the ancient kingdom of Gandhara in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The excavation site extends over 7.5 miles in the Anyak region of Logar province near south of Kabul,goverment excavation work just start before this smugglers loot and destroy some relics. Afghanistan's goverment doesn't have the resources to move the relics else where, because of some clashes during the insurgency. So many historical sites were destroyed during decades of civil war and foreign interventions, to build a museum there instead.  This site will be one of the major travel destination for Buddhist pilgrimage.
